Paula Portella, who has strong influences from black music, will sing at the Kabul tonight.
The singer will perform songs from artists like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Etta James, James Brown, Ed Motta and Tim Maia, among other artists from blues, soul, funk and pop music.
On the occasion, the musicians Marcos Fló (Bass), Arnaldo Duarte (Drums) and Rafael Amaral (Electric Guitar) will join her. The powerfull voiced singer is one of the new faces in São Paulo´s music scene and will be releasing her first album pretty soon. Very good music and worth checking out!
