Villa Tavola is much more than a restaurant. It is a unique place, where yo will find 22 different environments, options for all the tastes and programs: from breakfast the happy hour, from soup of the late night to lunchtime on Sunday, from an ice cream with your girlfriend to the formal business lunch. It is set in the heart of Bixiga, in the Rua Treze de Maio (Thirteen of May Street), right in front of Don Orione Square, where on Sundays the busy Handicraft Antiques Market takes place.
Villa Tavola is a real center of Italian Cuisine and Culture, 24 hours available to São Paulo inhabitants and tourists. One of the biggest houses of Sao Paulo, with 2000 square meters, it occupies 5 ancient mansions of the early 20th century that have been fully refurbished and whose original facades have been restored and preserved, keeping the typical architecture of the Italian immigrants who settled the neighborhood. Along the front, we have independent entrances to the Restaurant, the Cafeteria, the Emporium - Rotisserie and the Bakery- Gelateria.
Inside you will find several different environments, from the most relaxed to the most formal. At the entrance, the Italian Bar dominates, besides it, three lounges - the Noble and the Trattoria, serving a la carte, and the Terrazza, with buffet service, with some smaller rooms for private lunches and dinners, and a Cyber Café. The upper floor is reserved for Sunday lunches and big events, supporting up to 400 people seated and 1000 standing. Be sure to check also the underground cellar with a glass roof, which houses more than 100 labels of especially selected wines.
