The Arab World Festival brings for the fourth consecutive year to Sao Paulo, movies produced today in Arabian countries. On the opposite of CNN news, the Lebanese, Tunisians, Egyptians and Iraqis movies do not come up over here with the same speed and frequency. The program includes 13 long and three short movies, some with co-production of France, Germany and USA.
The Bombastic part of it is the Relatos do Iraque (Reports from Iraq), a series of documentaries made by the Independent School of Cinema and TV from Baghdad, an initiative that has allowed Iraq to show the vision of its young filmmakers.
